The wedding of Andrew and Melanie

Below is all the sundry information that is inevitably needed for a wedding, including links to nearby accommodation and the full information sheet which was sent out with invitations. Directions to both the church and reception are on their respective pages, so are not reproduced here.

The main times for the day are:

2pm	Wedding ceremony at St. Michael's Church, Stockton.
3pm	Wedding ceremony ends. Photos begin.
3.30pm	Photos completed. Sit-down meal guests leave for reception.

3.45pm	Welcome drinks for sit-down meal guests at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel, Ryton, Coventry.
4.30pm	Sit-down meal.
7.30pm	Evening party starts at the Marriott Courtyard.
8pm	Wedding cake cut, followed by the first dance.
9pm	Evening buffet served.
12.30am	Evening ends.

The above times are only approximate (well, not the ceremony, I suppose) and are dependent on the best man and chief usher doing their jobs - which, if you've ever seen them may be difficult to accept ;-)

Although we are inviting you to share our day rather than buy us a gift, if you would like to buy us something then we have wedding lists at Debenhams and Argos (both open from the start of February):

The Marriott Courtyard - hotel where the reception is!
Prices from: £55 - per room (including breakfast).
Travel Inn - on the A46, so not within walking distance.
Prices from: £45 - per room.
Hotel Formule 1 - in the town centre so not within walking distance.
Prices from: £20 - per room.
Ibis Hotels - two hotels: centre and south. However, neither are within walking distance.
Prices from: £35 - per room.

Nearby bed and breakfasts

Glengarry Guest House, 701 London Road. 024 7630 5804. This is the closest B&B, it is nearly opposite the hotel.
Prices from: £36 - double, £32 - single (including breakfast).
Gilcrist Guest House, 106 St. James Lane. 024 7630 2001. This is quite close to the hotel but it may not be within walking distance.
